Support the Assistant Manager with the daily operations of the Public Area Department, specifically leading, guiding, and monitoring Cleaners assigned to non-gaming zones (such a hotel lobbies, shopping malls, and back-of-house areas). Motivate Team Members to exceed guests’ expectations by ensuring all public areas are clean, tidy, safe, well-maintained and well-presented.service.

• Conduct daily inspections of all non-gaming public areas (including hotel lobbies, shopping arcades, non-gaming washrooms, hallways, stairways, offices, grounds, rotunda, banquet areas, function and meeting rooms) and execute correction action if needed
• Monitor quality control mechanisms, including health and safety, cleaning and maintenance, service standards, use of cleaning chemicals, equipment maintenance and handling
• Record inventory and consumptions and order cleaning supplies when required
• Supervise periodic deep cleaning, painting, chandelier cleaning, marble restoration and carpet shampooing
• Maintain a handover logbook to record necessary follow-ups for the incoming shift
• Report unusual activities and health and safety issues immediately

Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a five-star hotel

Knowledge/Certificates: Knowledge of cleaning activities, tools and detergents; hard and soft floor care and equipment operation; use of chemicals and machinery operation

Education: Secondary school diploma or above

Language Ability: Fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin, and good English

Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office
