Job Purpose
Assist the No. 1 & No. 2 Dim Sum Chef to manage the daily operations of the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce dim sum for banquets
- Transform raw materials into various fillings ready for dim sum production
- Monitor the quality and freshness of raw materials and prepared fillings
- Store prepared fillings correctly
- Maintain HACCP standards for dry and cold storage, and clean and tidy dim sum stations
- Keep inventory of all bamboo steamers and ensure they are always in stock and in top condition
- Continuously improve health and safety standards
- Accept any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the No. 1 & No. 2 Dim Sum Chefs
Competencies and Requirements
Experience: 10 to 15 years’ experience in dim sum cooking
Knowledge/Certificates: Excellent product knowledge of dim sum cuisine
Education: Secondary school or equivalent
Language Abilities: Fluent Cantonese
Computer Skills: Basic
