Job Purpose
Manage F&B event operations and ensure that every event is flawless and memorable fulfilling the event’s given purpose.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate Food & Beverage, venue, décor entertainment, audio visual, etc. for all events
- Conduct negotiations and prepare event proposals and contracts or agreements
- Coordinate between guest, guest chefs, guest mixologists and operations teams including kitchen team, service team to understand their event requirements, preferences and make sure events progress seamlessly following established procedures
- Coordinate photo shooting and videoing during the events, and coordinate marketing related issues
- Create and maintain events files & contracts, complete with booking lists for future reference
- Prepare events documents and reports for VP’s review
- Assist with menu planning, agenda setting, handling special requests etc.
- Handle payment invoices in coordination with accounts payable department
- Create, monitor and manage event management system which need to calculate budgets and resource allocation documents are submitted on time
- Work closely with PR team, social media team and F&B communications team to ensure seamless coordination related on F&B event marketing materials
- Monitor and adjust event activities to achieve Company goals
- Coordinate reservations for Media, Retail & other areas
- Keep up-to-date with latest industry trends and incorporate innovative ideas into the events planning and execution process to enhance the F&B Events image and offering
- Accept other duties and responsibilities assigned by the F&B VP
- Deliver Wynn Palace’s high standards of quality, service and guest satisfaction
Competencies and Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ event management experience in a five-star hotel or event company
Knowledge/Certificates: Excellent knowledge of a range of events services and trends, Macau market, and casino-resort business trends preferred
Education: Bachelor degree in Events or Hospitality Management or equivalent
Language Ability: Fluent English, Mandarin and Cantonese
Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office
